Basic traffic counts use no analytics cookies. Optional PostHog analytics uses a random browser token only when you allow it. We do not install advertising trackers. Essential sessions keep the game working. Google Street View previews load automatically when you open evidence.
1. What cookies and browser storage do
Street Bingo is operated by Streetbingo. Contact help@streetbingo.gg for support or questions about these policies.
Cookies are small values your browser sends back to a website. Local storage keeps settings in your browser; session storage keeps them for the current tab session. Similar privacy rules can apply to all of them. This page describes the storage used by our application, rather than treating all storage as advertising.
2. Essential sessions
These first-party cookies support features you request. They do not require an advertising-cookie choice, but blocking them may stop sign-in or multiplayer play.

Session lifetimes can restart when a session is renewed. Hosting and authentication providers may also use security mechanisms to deliver and protect the service.
3. Nicknames, sounds and alerts
street-bingo-namein session storage carries the nickname you enter between game screens in the same browser tab. It normally ends when that tab session ends. We no longer automatically save this nickname in persistent local storage.street-bingo-chat-soundin local storage remembers the chat-sound setting you choose using the sound control.street-bingo-evidence-alertsin local storage remembers that you enabled evidence alerts. Alerts also need your browser’s notification permission. They work while the game is open, including in another tab; turning alerts off removes this setting.
4. Google Street View previews
When you open a tile’s evidence or a Daily Discovery entry, its available Google Street View preview loads automatically inside the evidence window. There is no separate load button. The preview connects to Google, which receives request information and may use its own cookies or storage under Google’s privacy policy.
Previews are not loaded for unopened evidence. Closing the evidence window removes the embed. This does not delete cookies Google has already set or undo information already sent. You can manage third-party cookies and site data through your browser and Google settings; blocking them may affect the preview.
The evidence window also includes the original submitted link, which you can open directly on Google Maps. Following that link leaves Street Bingo and uses Google’s service. Google sign-in is also loaded only when you choose to sign in with Google. Stripe Checkout and the billing portal have their own storage practices when you visit them.
5. Your controls
Use the chat sound and evidence-alert controls to change those features. Persistent settings remain until changed or cleared. You can delete cookies and site data in your browser’s privacy settings, and revoke notification permission in its site permissions. Clearing essential data may sign you out or remove access to a guest session.
We do not currently load Google Analytics, advertising pixels or advertising-cookie scripts in the game. Our basic page-view counts use no cookies, local storage or persistent visitor identifier, and honour Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Optional PostHog analytics begins only after you choose Allow analytics. Its random HttpOnly browser token and the preference cookie last up to 90 days. Analytics preferences in the footer lets you decline or withdraw with the same ease as allowing it. Session recording, automatic form capture and advertising features are not enabled by this integration. Visits mean fresh page loads, not unique people.
